Ziad L. Deeb, MD, was born in Lebanon and educated at the American University of Beirut. After advanced training at the University of Arizona, he completed a fellowship in neuroradiology at Harvard Medical School and went on to join the staff at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He later worked at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. During this time, he was promoted to professor and published numerous peer-reviewed articles.
As a result of his dedication to education in the field and his contributions to the advancement of radiology, Dr. Deeb was elected as a fellow of the American College of Radiology in 1991. When the Cleveland Clinic opened a new facility in Naples, Florida, he was recruited as its first neuroradiologist. In May 2009, Dr. Deeb joined Long Beach Memorial and Miller Childrens Hospital Long Beach to practice radiology and neuroradiology.
Named repeatedly among the top 10 neuroradiologists by the U.S. News and World Report, most recently in 2012, Dr. Deeb has been recognized by his peers as one of the best neuroradiologists in the country.
